22325.  (a) No automobile rental agency shall enter into a contract
for the lease or rental of a motor vehicle unless it is disclosed
both orally and in writing to the customer that the collision damage
waiver offered by the agency may be duplicative of coverage that the
customer maintains under his or her own policy of motor vehicle
insurance.
   (b) As used in this section "automobile rental agency" means any
person or entity engaged in the business of renting or leasing motor
vehicles in this state.
